Just had a positive pregnancy test... Now what

You realize that it’s time to act mature and you are about to be a mother.

Step 1: See your local health department since you dont have insurance. You need to get a positive pregnancy test confirmed by an actual clinic.

Step 2: Look up information on Medicaid. I didn’t have insurance when I got pregnant with my son, Medicaid will take a pregnant woman and pay for all of the doctor and hospital cost through your pregnancy and childbirth.

Step 3: Start Saving. Babies are expensive!

Step 4: Prenatal care. You need to get some prenatal vitamins ASAP! Any Pharamacy sells them and they are faily cheap. They are very important for you and your babies health.

Step 5: Find a doctor to go to. You need regular visits to care for your baby and your health.

How old are you. If you are less than 21 years of age then learn how to prioritize. First get medical assistance through medicaid for you and your baby, second make sure you receive prenatal cara ASAP. Second, you need to enroll in college and do as much coursework as you can. A baby is not an excuse to ignore your academics. I have 2 babies and I am 25 years. My first son was born when I was 18 and 2 days after giving birth I went to class for an exam. No excuses. Third, your wedding try to budget your wedding to save money for your baby’s nursery. and im sure you will look pretty in your dress even though you are pregnant. :)
