Job, or girlfriend, possibly both?

Well, here is a very hard decision for me.

I have been going out with my girlfriend who I love dearly for a very long time, we both are in highschool. I just got a full time job after school. 4:00-12:00 and one weekend a month.

We both go to different schools. Now, the main problem. My girlfriend works from the morning to the afternoon on the weekends. So, that leaves us with maybe 1-2 times a week to see eachother.

I am 17 and I have to move out by 18 per parents rules. I’m graduating in 2010.

Another concern is Prom night. It means a lot to us.

This is a HUGE salary for somone my age ($35,000)

My main question:

Will she stay with me if I do this? How can I make her happy with the little time I can talk to her after school and before work? I would be a failure as a boyfriend. She is somone I cannot forget. What do I do?

If she really loves you, she will stick by you. It’s a good opportunity, and it’s important to keep that job since you have to move out soon. Maybe, if you feel like it’s not working out between you and your girlfriend, and after you graduate, etc, you can request to work in the mornings instead…? Good Luck with that though.
