Should I take this job?

I’m 16 and everyone is saying I should get a job. When my brother was my age he worked in a hospital basically just washing people, changing old peoples nappies and cleaning up sick, blood, urine and poo….. BUT he got paid 14 euro an hour and 28 euro on Sunday’s (which is amazing pay for that age!). The only thing is, he was reallllly into medical stuff and so had done lots of things like life saving skills and paramedic skills so he was used to that kind of thing. I on the other hand am very squemish and am NOT a medical person but should I just grin and bear it as it’s only poo????

I think it would be a very good thing for you. If you find you cant handle it you can always quit.

Why not try, anyway? You might end up liking the fact that you’re helping people, and the grosser aspects of the job might take a back seat.
