How could I have miscarried?

Well just about 5 weeks ago I went to the doctor and I was 3 weeks late on my period and I took a pregnancy test at the doctor office and they discovered I was 7 weeks and 2 days they estimated…well just thursday of last week which was 07 -23-09 I was suppose to be 11 weeks going on 12 they say and I went for my first ultra sound and to their suprise they say they found no baby…I started to cry because I was wondering how can I have all these changes to my body and not be pregnant…they say I might have had a miscarriage but how could I have had no bad cramps or sharp pains or even no bad bleeding or spotting…then they said I might be not as far as I think I am…I know my last period was may 5 and ended may 9 but I dont know what to think and im trying not to worry …they took some blood from me that day and they told me to come back monday…im so worried ..has this ever happen to anyone you know of or even urself!!!

When I was 24 I had what the Dr’s called a “growth spurt”. It was more like a hormone surge, one of the things that happened was that my body behaved pregnant, pee tests came back positive, and even blood work showed high levels of hormones that usually mean you are pregnant. The ultra sound showed nothing. When my period did finally come it was normal, not heavy or lots of cramps. The only good thing was after that my boobs got a bit bigger and my hips showed more. It was all pretty scary and confusing, but at least in the end it was nothing serious.

I really hope that everything is ok for you, that if you want the baby its there, but if it isnt that at least everything is healthy with you and all. I know it is easier to say than do, but try not to stress out.

Yes, it happen to someone I know. Don’t you worry you try another check up or ultrasound. Get a second opinion, medical help and Pray to God and Pray.

wow thats really scary! but no I’ve never heard of this happening to anyone. I hope the ultra sound technician just made a mistake and the baby didnt really die. good luck with everything.
