How to turn volume up on itouch?

well I was looking at the website and it says it has but I gotmine when the itouch first came out maybe that has something to do with why I dont have it

I have an ipod touch and its 2nd generation and it will not play music out loud either. The volume is up, its on speaker and is on play? so why want it play. I can here tapping when I right in my password so it must have speakers so why want it work?

then again I could hear my alarm so there has to be some form if speaker if the alarm works

From information I read, both iphone / itouch have speaker capability.

The first generation ipod touch did not have built in speakers. That was an upgrade that they put into the second generation touch. I have the second generation and it does have built in speakers which surprisingly work quite well considering how small they have to be because they are inside the ipod which is small. But, your friend is correct, they do have built in speakers… as long as it is the second generation one.

Hmm…my friend and my brother both have their own. For each, they just unplug their headphones, turn up the volume, and its on! It does work… If it doesnt, talk to someone who owns one as well. Or you can go to the store yo ugot it from and ask how.
