Is this PC good for games?

2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 16GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 4x4GB ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphics with 512MB

Is it gonna be good for some serious gaming? And is it future proof; I.e. will I have to buy a new PC in a few years because the games get too demanding?

Answer #1

a computer of epic proportions.

Answer #2

15 gb is a bit overboard; the Quad cores aren’t that necessary either. If you custom build your computer via an online site, (newegg.com, NCIX.com) you could be saving some crucial bucks that could possibly go towards cooling incase your computer ever overheats, etcetc

Answer #3

Awesome :) I wasn’t sure about the graphics card as some people have been saying you need minimum 1GB graphics card.

Answer #4

OMG, That computer would be beautiful for gaming, you make me jealous. Yeah it will be obsolete soon, but it still will be the best of the best out there for awhile, and I don’t think games will be too demanding of your computer for at least 4 years..
