Is This Pain Normal?
I suffer from IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) every day. I suffer a lot of constipation as well as severe stomach cramps. Sometimes the pain is so severe that I have to go to hospital. It’s so painful I end up crying and almost screaming. Sometimes I worry in case I could be getting bowel cancer. The pain is unbearable most of the time, no matter how many laxatives I take. I just don’t know what to do about it any more. Everyone I know is really worried about how much I’ve suffered. I’ve tried solpadol/cocodamol painkillers, ibuprofen, but the pain is still there, even though these painkillers are the strongest ones I can get. Is this constant pain normal?
irrismith is right, you should have it checked out just to be on the safe side. I had simular things happen to me, and I went ot emergency, I had cramps so bad for 2 weeks strait, specailly when I straightened my body out, turned out to just be gas. also this may be very helpful to you..try buying yourself some “flax seed” sprinkle some on most of your meals..and it helps regulate your digestive system gentally and naturally 100% safe (you can buy it at a grocecry store) , and it really works for me :)
constant pain is NEVER normal…you’re going to need some doctor to order you some tests, you could have pancreatitis, or lots of other thing, the way you describe it though, I would think pancreas… blood sugar problems, diabetes involved? too many variables involved here …YOU NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR… ASAP…go to the emergency room if need be , or get a quick visit with your pcp so he can order the right tests.. amylase is the enzyme produced by a damaged pancreas…I would advise them to include that in your bloodwork..anyway , it it were me suffering, thats what I would do…and I know the IBS is there but you could be attributing the symptoms of another malady TO the IBS…
