Is this my period or a bladder infection?

So this is kind of embarresing, but just a few minutes ago I was on the computer, and “down below” felt really “wet”. I put my hand down there because I thought it was the white stuff, and I bring my hand back up and it was blood, and I kind of panicked, I cleaned it up right away with baby whipes, it was a whole bunch of blood in my panties and shorts, I havent really had mood swings or cramps before this happened, I dont think so anyway, but I went to the washroom and urinated and there was no blood in the toilet, just on the toilet paper after. I put a pad on, its been about 10 minutes now and there is no more signs of blood. Was this a blatter infection, or maybe a cut down there I didnt know about and it just bled, or is it my period on its way? im sorry im 13 and never had this before, and there is no possibility of pregnancy if you ask that, thanks

I think it is your period. When I first started, I didn’t get any cramps or anything. I just started to bleed. Just monitor it for a while. Here is a really good website for all that stuff.

yeah, its def, yur period.. I had a bladder infection a few weeks ago, and you dont bleed at all.| it just stings when you pee. and you get sore… but you dont bleed/

Answer #3

Don’t worriw it’s normal yes it’s your period it is also very unlikey to pee blood unless your glomerulus located in your nephrom in your kidneys has ruptured in which case you would feel it and know something is wrong. It’s also normal not to feel any side effects of your period. This can happen because of temperture changes or even from reduced or increased stress anyways no worrie your fine

Answer #4

Um yes hun thats your period, sometimes the blood comes a lot then sometimes it goes away for about an hour but make sure you keep your pad on cause if you think its going away or something else when its not.. then it will just come back again and a big mess for you to clean.

Answer #5

That’s the way it happened for me too. Usually when you have a bladder infection, you’ll experience itching and burning when you try to pee.
