Is this a good way to break up?

Letting you go cause im not what you need Letting you go so you can succeed Letting you go cause you dont feel the same Letting you go cause this isnt a game Letting you go cause im just not for you Letting you go cause your love isnt true Letting you go cause this just isnt right Letting you go cause I dont want to fight Letting you go cause you dont want to try Letting you go cause I dont want to cry Letting you go cause I just cant go on Letting you go because this feels wrong Letting you go because love is a lie Letting you go and heres my goodbye.

I havent sent it yet but I want to know if the message is clear enough. So please give me your opinions

I think it’s too “cutesy”. Better would be a sit-down conversation with him where you could really discus the situation. Both of you could end up learning things that would help each of you in future relationships.

Your poem is simply a cute “Dear John” letter. An in person breakup is a better way to go.
