Is this girl worth it?

I’ve known this girl for a very long time , I’m in 8th grade, and i think i have a crush on her. We used to talk a lot and hang out etc. but now we barely even speak, i don’t know why, but shes been sending me very mixed signals. She stares at me across the room until i look at her and she turns around. She comes to kiss me and hug me now and then , but then mentioning how I’m such a good friend. When i was out in the yard one day, some of her friends said we would make a cute couple, i didn’t say anything but she said it would be like kissing my brother. And last year her friend came up to me and asked me if i liked her and i said no b/c i was scared and i had mixed feelings for her , i kinda wasn’t sure. And afterwards when she was going out with some guys she would catch my attention and then like chuff it in my face. Now its may and my school year ends in a month and a half. We’re going to different high schools , far from eachother , im getting a sleepover summer job, so i wont be home until 9th grade starts, and i dont even have a cell phone. Is she worth it? What should i do? how should i do it? any advice would help, tyvm
