We found a turtle on the side of the road, I've had one every year for three years. We just found this one, so we brought it home to let it enjoy our pond. I was making my way to the pond when I saw that it was out of the cage/pond. I picked it up and it hissed at me, it's a boxing turtle. Not even sure if it's a boy or girl, but very fat and heavy. So, I don't really know if it is. But there is black on the bottom of it's shell, and it's about 12 years of age.
your turtle is pregnant by the sound of it because I had a boxer turtle about 2 years ago and he hiised and it was heavy and few days later there was another turtle in the pond. better get ready for your turtles birth
the turtle may have come up to dry land to lay the eggs, I suggest you drop it back off where you found it and let nature take it's course
well...take it to a vet. let the pro tell you if you're turtle is having eggs.
