Is my dog pregant
So how long does it take for her belly to get big she should be about 4 weeks now and for her booobs to fill up she will be due may23 she is kinda of a fat dog already she weighs 70 pounnds and she is a boxer
she should start to loose her shape by now. Teats will start to get bigger. She is right in the middle of her gestation. So I would suspect that you will notice changes really soon. Is she sleeping more, nesting, eating more, more affectionate? The only way really to tell now would be to do a pregnancy test at the vets, have them palpate her, or ultrasound. around 58-62 days you can do xray to see how many to expect but by then you would know if she is pregnant
She should be showing now. Many dogs carry their puppies up in there rib cage until the last couple of weeks and like people the puppies than drop and you can see them better in her belly. If she is due the 23rd you should know by now unless she is only having a couple of pups.
The milk does not come in until the last couple of days before she delivers.
An Xray is good so that you know how many puppies you are expecting. That way you will know if you should worry if she goes too long between pups.
You should also have her puppy box ready and have her getting use to it. She will start tearing it up when she is nesting and having contractions. Meaning she will rout through the papers or blankets you have down
