Is Magic Real?

Magic is entertainment, the art of illusion, sleight of hand. It’s not actually real.

As a Wiccan, I can tell you that magick (that is the proper spelling) is real, and in some cases we do use wands, but we don’t chant some latin mumbo jumbo and make something levitate and things like that.

I know for a fact magic is not real. I love it, and am completely into it, but it is ALL just an illusion and the magicians plan their tricks out way before they do them. They also practice everything so they never reveal their secrets. Magic is amazing, because of the magicians being able to disguise what is really going on to give the audience the feel that it is being performed with their mind. Magic is all about the magician. very mystical, 13th child. while I am not wiccan, I do believe that “magic” is real in some forms. I believe that if you use a Ouija board, you really do contact evil spirits. that’s the problem though; the use of magic in the sense that you’re asking is always by the use of power granted by the devil. any power granted by God is referred to as the power of the priesthood. I do believe they’re both quite real…but unlike the priesthood, the devil will give the power to anybody, which leads to people getting in far over their heads. my advice would be to stay away from it.

yep magic is real, I have protected many people from harm. the notion that magic is derived and powered by evil simply is not the case, wiccans do not follow christ, and by default- do not believe in the christian devil. magic (like nature) is truly not dark or light- but a reflection of the person using it. as long as the practitioner seeks to harm none- it can be a doorway to all kinds of inspiration- and knowledge.

True magic is as real as the sun rising in the morning, because magic is the belief that you can create change and other acts with incantations and herbs all Natural. The original Merlin for instances was considered to be a Physician and Herb est. who cured people of the maladies and illness’s. It’s the practice of using you KI, the energy and power of the human mind and the power of will. You’ve heard of people who had things happen because they believed with their whole being that what they wanted they helped come to them. Magic, has many many purposes still to this day, Alchemy Metallurgy Numerology kinetics telepathy botany and the list goes on. Magic is anything that changes by thought, will and Faith.

Magic boy…again…I remember when I started doin some dark magic…never again the first day in sweet you think really hard rub the grass or paper with your fingers and wow you see that a fire! Then comes the bad stuff…it’s like a sacrafice you get power in return for somthing else like I had nightmares about fire (I only used the fire spells lol I thought everything else was lame) you have like vomitting diherrea and severe headackes that’s when I quit I threw the book out stupid book…

‘Harry Potter’ type of magic, where there is a super-normal source of power is NOT real.

No. It’s fantasy mixed with delusion.
