is magic a sin, like doing spells in stuff???

depends on what you are using the spell for - good or bad. spells are just a way to increase your confidence that a particular outcome will occur. They are a “faith generating” activity, neither good nor bad in themselves. As Jesus says “according to your faith it has been done.” a spell used for a positive intention is certainly not a sin.

Yes magic and casting spells are a sin. Its a form of idolatry and a violation of the first commandment, I am the Lord thy God, thou shalt not have any strange gods before me.

The Bible teaches that there are only two sources of power. The power of God, and the power of satan. The Bible condemns MAGIC altogether.

“When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Ones unbelief in the existence of God/hell/satan/demons/Jesus Christ/etc doesn’t change the reality of their existence. You can believe that a tree is really a rock but that don’t make it true!

Take a step back an see the real spiritual scenario…

God wants a relationship with His creation - humankind. Satan rebelled against God and he hates God. Satan came to steal/kill and destroy God’s creation. Satan was once a high ranking angel that God created. God knew satan would rebel against Him so He had His eternal Word - Jesus poised ready to enter our time & space to provide the way back to God. Yes, it’s a narrow way, but God provided it and it has many evidences to support it.
Humans have a rebellious nature within them to naturally reject God. Satan has deceived many with his lies by blinding their spiritual eyes to God’s truth. God gave humans a way back into a right relationship with Himself by becoming the God-man - Jesus. Jesus lived the perfect sinless life that we could never live. He then took all our sins on Himself as payment for our failures/sins. God’s standard is perfection which we don’t have. But if we believe and love Jesus for His sacrifice on the cross we can be given His righteousness which washes us clean of our sins. We now have life eternal with God who loves us. The problem is we have is free will but it is necessary to make our love for God real for real love cannot be forced.
Therefore we have to examine His Word but we need His Spirit for His Word is spiritually understood. We can choose to go any other path but all other paths lead to destruction and eternal separation from God. You can get upset/reject God without checking out the vast evidences/seek a different path…but a comparison of whatever you are into with God’s Word will show you that He is who He said He is. Your disbelief in hell/God/Jesus/satan/etc doesn’t cause them to be non-existent! Don’t hate the messenger but please thoroughly check out the message!

How can “energies” be pushed/summoned/cast/called upon/etc if they are just impersonal “energies?” Define it as you want, but in order for “energies” to be called upon they have to have intellect to receive your call. Therefore such “energies” are not just unintelligible energies…they have personality and can cause events to occur! So in reality, they aren’t just “energies”, they’re really entities! These entities are ancient non-corporal being who are masters of deception. They are demons if you choose to accept that or not. I know you feel the power in your rituals, well that’s the demonic power that you call “energies”. When candles light automatically do you think “energies” do that? No way, demons are behind it all!

White witches say all they do are good spells. Black witches/satanists/magick say they do good and bad in their spells. But all are deceived by the Devil/Satan/demons who can appear either good or evil to whomever they seek to trick/deceive.

Even some satanists say there’s no literal Satan, although other satanists do believe in a literal Satan. Satan himself doesn’t care either way. Satan’s agenda is to get us humans to deny the true God of the Bible and to choose any other path we want. All paths don’t lead to the truth. Wide is the path that leads to destruction.

depends what you believe, supposedly it is, then again if so it means Jesus, Solomon, & a lmost all “original” christains are sinners. Simple things such as belomancy & such were performed. Telling the future through egg whites or tea leaves. Jeses performing necromancy. Solomen had spirits build his temples, he has 12 selas that were given to him by demons he used for all lifes basics & some.

I personally don’t believe in sin or anything of the christian view, specially the god & evil thing, it’s all man made good & evil, sin, & such.

If you actually believe that your doing magic then its probably a sin but if your just pretending its probably not bad, I dont think youll go to hell just for that, you might have to sit in pergatory a little longer, but you shouldnt go to hell just for that

No. Hell and sin are irrelevant, manmade concepts. I don’t believe in magic either, but if you want to practice it, hell and sin should have no bearing on your decision.

According to Christanity it is. But according to Christanity what isn’t. Wicca for example doesn’t believe in the devil so to us its not.

Wicca is an earth based religion that worships the Gods and Goddess as well as the cycles of the earth and balance. Except good and evil we believe that these are man made concepts and don’t exist in nature .

Wiccans do use magic but its not necessary. Wicca is a religion and witchcraft is the use of magick. We believe in no harm done meaning we do nothing magick or otherwise with the intent of harm. We also believe in the rule of 3 which means that what ever you do ,good or bad with magick or not , comes back to you x3. This is also known as Karma. Anyone that tells you they can escape or stop the rule of 3 or karma is lying to you and themselves.

We don’t follow any doctrine such as the bible, but there is somethings that a good wiccan should know like: the Wiccan Rede, 13 goals, general beliefs, Charge of the God and the Charge of the Goddess… We have 8 sabots a year that are in tune with the cycles of the earth such as the solstice, and equinox. These focus on the God while the esabbats new and or full moons, focus on the Goddess.

We use tools like: athames (ritual knifes), wands, pentacles, ect.. to draw and direct energy. These are only tools and a representation of energy. Since we as humans can’t hold pure energy these, along with symbols, help us use energies.

There are many different types of wiccans. Such as Traditional, eceletic, solitary, coven. Traditional is usually in a coven with strict rules such as Alexandrian or Gardener. Eceletic is one that doesn’t follow any coven rules they find what works for them and incorporated that and kinda make there own magic. A solitary works usually alone as opposed to a coven that works together. However sometimes they may work with other solitaries or gather to celebrate a Sabbath.

A Book of Shadows (BoS) is a witches/ wiccans journal for spells, experiences, herbs, knowledge, ect… My Book of shadows is pretty extensive form the things I mentioned to herb and incense guide, astrological calendar, spells, divination tarot, runes, omens, palm reading, astronomy, experiences, writings, dream journal, what I call an archive sections with letters from people in my past, a news paper article with my dad being a hero in it and an auto bio form my great great uncle. and more. Its took me a long time to develop it. It got so big I had to but it in a 100CD case and still had to put some of it into a separate binder. Your book of shadows could be a simple note book to a normal binder. I keep all the papers in paper protectors to preserve them.

Traditional it takes a year and a day of study before initiation. For coven members they are usually assigned a mentor to teach them. General they are not permitted to cast spells but are allowed to observe the coven and celebrate on Sabbath. After a year and a day if the mentor and other members of the coven think he/she is ready they will perform an initiation ceremony and they will be welcomed into the coven. Initiation however dose take a coven. Self initiation are commonly know as dedication. This is here you dedication yourself to a God or Goddess or even the belief its self. This is a judgment call on your part. Aging a year and a day is traditional but this is your journey and if you feel you need more time that’s okay too. A solitary can study by reading everything they can, or maybe finding another that is willing to be a mentor.
