is it wierd I wouldnt change my past?

I was talking with one of my friends who knows everything about me, and without going into to much detail, I’ve been through a fair bit of sh*t in my life, with bullies and family stuff. She asked me, bet you wish you could change it, and even though it hurt at the time, I just said no, I wouldnt change a thing, it made me who I am, if id had a different life I wouldnt be me. Is it wierd I wouldnt want to change the bad stuff?

Answer #1

Not at all - those experiences made you, you !! - unique only to your life.

Answer #2

not at all, I’m having the hardest time in my life so far, but I still don’t think I would change a thing.

Answer #3

No. I’ve thought about it, but I wouldnt change the bad because that might risk getting rid of the good that I’ve got now.

Answer #4

like most of these people I to would so no it doesn’t I think about it and well we are all who we are because of the things that we had to go through.

Answer #5

It doesn’t make you wierd at all. Your past makes you who are today and it helped mold your personality. Like everyone say, What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger.

Answer #6

although it seems surprising that you wouldn’t change the bad times, it’s perfectly normal. we’ve all had to deal with a lot and although it seems like the end of the world at the time, later it seems so insignificant that you can’t even believe why it was so bad at the time. but we do learn from our past and it helps shape us into the person we are today and the person we’ll be tomorrow. so if you don’t regret it, than that’s good enough for me :)

Answer #7

thanks, I thought so to, she was just looking at me like I was crazy lol

Answer #8

Absolutely I so much agree . we learn from our past good or bad it makes us stronger .
