Is it too mean?

this is basically a follow-up question from the last question I asked; “Be Friends After Break up?”. I have been going out with my boyfriend for nearly one year, and recently I’m not allowed to hang out unless she makes 100% sure that I’m going with friends [my mom doesn’t let me date until im in college as she wants me to concentrate with school, which I am because I get so-called good grades and now I think she is suspicious about me dating]. I have been thinking about breaking up with him as my feelings for him has faded away. Since I cant really leave the house,I cant break up with him face-to-face. Do you think its too mean to break up with him by phone[but im scared my mom will overhear] or instant message since our one year “anniversary” is next week. I really want to know as I still want to be friends after…..

Answer #1

no It’s not too mean but it will be if u don’t tell him gently.. like “I’m really sorry.. but we have to break up” or something like that..LOL my mom also wouldn’t let me date or have boyfriends until I’m 18 but I still had some boyfriends and I still date even though I’m 13!

Answer #2

Answer #3

umm i guess tell him on the phone tell him the reasons why you couldn’t do this in person (but ten he might think that your just saying that to not see him) doing it on the phone is the only way

Answer #4

i WOULD ask him after school but recently my mom has been driving me and my brother [6 years] home… instead of taking public transport.. so i cant… omg, im seriously not sure what i should do….

Answer #5
