is it supposed to be a complement or a bad thing when some one

tells me I look older then I am I am 13 but some people I dont know walked up to me and asked me if I was 18 yet I dont know if that is a good thing or a bad thing to be asked please answer! thx :P

Never mind. When I was a kid I used to be told “you look 10 years older than you really are”. However, now they say “you look 10 years younger”.=)

people always think I’m older then I am because of how tall I am. I don’t take it as a bad thing that’s for sure lol.

It’s a compliment whenever they say you look closer to 19 than you really are, so at your age that means being called older.

It’s not really a bad thing because 18 is still a young age when you think about it. Maybe it’s just the way you dress, your make up or how tall you are etc. Someone thought I looked 18 once when I was about 13 or 14 lol, because of my height. I’m sure they didn’t say it to offend you :)
