Is it okay to shave

Okay, so yeah, I’m starting high school tomorrow and I’ve got a problem, not a big one, but it is an issue. I’m a girl, but I kind of have a moustache. It’s not so big that you’d be like , “ Whoa, check out that girl!”, but it is noticeable and I’m very self-conscious. I don’t want to wax, so I’m thinking about shaving it, but I heard that after you shave hair, it grows back faster and thicker! I sure as HELL don’t want that, so I just wanted to know if it’s true.

Answer #1

Waxing hurts, but it only hurts for a minute then it’s over. Also alot of people are allergic to lightning or deplitory creams. Waxing is about 8 dollars for upper lip, and lasts about 6 weeks

Answer #2

Hey, I have experience with this! Do not shave, because during the growing back stage it’ll look uglier than when you started! Go to Duane Reade or any pharmacy and by “lightening cream”. Ask the cashier to help you out. It’s easy. You apply it for 10 minutes and voila! - blond, unnoticeable hair! Good Luck!

Answer #3

It does grow back thicker to a degree. The courseness of the new growth is due to the end of the hair being a hewn stump that had a razor across it. If you pluck the hair it grows back softer. Wax hurts, but you do it a lot less often. Save your allowance and see an electrolysis technician for more of a permanent solution.

Answer #4

i agree with funguy if you shave it you will have a 5 a clock shadow and it will grow back darker.

Answer #5

Yes it’s true, don’t shave, wax instead! Permanent solution: LASER therapy.

Answer #6
