a guy that likes me asked me out and I said no only because I really didnt expect it and now I feel really bad,so after a few days I asked him out and he hasnt given me an answer but he went on holiday yesterday for three weeks.Does this sound like a no and how should I act around him when he gets back?

You are over analyzing things. The boy is on HOLIDAY Give him time - we always give in… if he says no, then he either:
does not like you - (All of a sudden?) Had his pride hurt by your answer - (and who wants a big baby like that?)
