Is Hypoallergenic 925 Sterling Silver safe to wear?

i’ve had my nose pierced for about 4 years and i’ve only been wearing 22k gold because i have very sensitive skin. i got this really cute nose stud but its 925 sterling silver and it also says hypoallergenic. i got it from hot topic and i’m not sure if it’s safe to wear but i really want to.

When I got my ears pierced many moons ago, I was told I could only wear 22K gold. I think they were just telling everyone that, because I can wear just about anything but the really cheap stuff. I think the hypoallergenic will be fine.

Only one way to find out.

I’ve got very sensitive skin like that, too, and I was always ok with silver.
