Is he too old for me?

im 14 and I go with an 18 year old my ma knows and she likes him we have great fun together do you think he’s too old for me

I think your still to yung to have a boyfriend.school comes first.and as fore your question sometimes its not bad to be with someone older if he act his age.but if he act lick a kid sill dont wast your time it well be a nightmare.

Dear 412_princess, Yes…there is nothing wrong with you but with him…an 18 year old interested in a 14 year old isn’t normal. He is probably not mature enough to relate to his peers. A 18 year old should have very different interests then a 14 year old would have. Depending on your state you are in he is dating you at risks. What I do hear from some older guys is that when they start lying about their girlfriends age and don’t bring her to parties held by their peers they start to realize there is a problem. When I was 21 I started dating a girl with her parents full blessing. I was shocked to find she was only 14. I ask her parents why she allowed me to see her and they said it was because I respected her. As long as he respect you it’s ok but once he stops it is not. . . . if he is having sex with you he does not respect you much.
