Is he just being friendly?

Ok…I will try to make this short…bear with me. This guy has been a regular customer at my work and I do like the attention I am receiving so I mgiht be reading more than I should into this. The first time he actually talked with me he asked me what time I was leaving work…we made conversation and I was interested in going to this event he was going to…so I was planning on going…and he assumed I would based on our conversation…I couldnt make it …actually I didnt want to go alone so I didnt go. The next few times he came in I didnt really talk to him…he came in with a coworker…the time after that he came to my register said hi sweetheart what is new…I was soo nervous, was shaking the whole time..and thought this is pathetic for a girl in her late 20’s…but he was nice regardless…the next time I saw him I was better…we talked I asked him if he worked at this restaurant that I was going to go to…I knew he did I was just making conversation..he said he did but he wasnt there that day but he might stop by…well I ended up not going that nite..weather was bad. He drove away that day from my job and I noticed him looking at me and of course I looked at him his hot…go figure. The last time I saw him he came to my register despite all the others that were open…and I was actually normal not shaking…we had a short conversation…I made a comment to a coworker how my job at work is to look pretty…I was being playful and the guy said it shouldt be hard for you to do that…and I asked him what he did for thanksiging…and he said he was with his girlfriend and her familyyy…go figure…so yes I am crushed but willg et over it…my question is…did I blow it by being too nervous…so I know for the future…or is he just being friendly and I am making wayy to much out of it…thanks to all the more knowledgeable and experineced daters…need help
