Is being on your period and gettting in the ocean safe?

I’m about to go on a trip to Key Largo, but I will be on my period the entire time. Is it safe to get in the ocean while I’m on my period?

If you mean in shark attack wise, you’re just fine. Sharks rarely come closer than 50 feet of the water.
