Is anyone else in love with their best friend?

I’m in love with my best friend and I went to go see him…then right before going he got back together with his X- then all of a sudden engaged after 2 months…2 months later he found out she was cheating on him the whole time- the first person he called about the situation was me. Now we talk all the time for hours and hours- he wants me to come see him during spring break and he will be coming home for leave sometime soon.

The only problem is that I dont know if he likes me back but he does know that I like him…his friends told him (their big mouths)… So I’ve learned that I need to just tell him- have you tried telling your best friend that your in love with?!?!?… dont let the chance pass you by, but you could lose him as a friend until he realizes that he should be with you or you realize that you can meet someone else and let him be happy with the one he is with… its hard…I know b/c my best friend is still looking for someone to be with…yet im right infront of him.

I’ve been in love with my best friend since I was about 9 and for a while I thought he liked me to, then when I moved up into high school (hes a year younger) I met other guys but never went out with any of them, then when he came into high school too I dont know why but I subconciously thought I had to prove to myself I didnt like him so I went out with this other guy. Then my best friend told me he liked me and always had but I was so angry at him for not telling me sooner and letting me think I was just his friend he told everything (not that thats a bad thing, I just wanted more) that I did the stupidest thing and went out with one of his good friends. I was so mad at myself for doing this but the realationship didnt last long (thank god!). and after that we became closer again, going back to our old best friends ways (after having fallen out before). we were sorta careful around eachother but getting to be good friends again. Then I thought I was over him, until he went out with my sister then I got jealous and went out with another of his friends, he got jealous of that and then we broke up with them and are FINALLY going out :D so, maybe after all you go through you’ll get together, maybe he’ll always have loved you.. good luck

I am and it’s real hard. I’m like his rock, he tells me everything. He said I know more about him than his own mother! And vie been in love with him for the past three years without him knowing. Not for one day have I stopped loving him and he doesn’t realize it. It sucks. I’ve tried to tell him but it never comes out right. Ugh good luck with yalls situations:)
