Is it possible to use two ipods on the same computer, but have different songs on them ?
If so, how.. my dads getting an ipod for chrismas & i know he doesn’t want my songs on it.
yes, very possible! my family has 5 ipods using the same computer and trust me we don’t listen to the same stuff
yes it is. its very simple. all you have to do with the ipods are when you plug them into your computer, switch the settings from automatically updating to manually updating. that way you can choose the songs you want on the ipod. thats it.
But you have to do the checks every time ?
like checking each song? no like say you wanted to add a song, all you have to do is click and drag the song to your ipod and it is added then. thats all
Wait wait, your confusing me. First off how do i change it to manually ? xDD
lol when you plug you ipod in your computer, and when itunes shows that it has your ipod connected, go to your ipod in itunes the settings are right there right when you click your ipod
Ohhh okay i got thattt. But i still don’t get how to use 2 different ipods on it with different songs & without having to check all the songs.
what do you mean check all the songs? like that little check mark with each song in itunes?
Yees.
haha oh, well when you change the settings to manually update your ipods you don’t have to worry about the check marks. the check marks are mainly for when you have your ipod sync(update) automatically with itunes. when you change to manual you can delete songs off your ipod and not your computer and add songs to your ipod(by clicking and dragging the songs to the ipod) and you can add songs from other computers too.
srry kinda long haha
That’s a little confusing, but i’ll figure it out. Thanks. :D
im sorry but just don’t worry about the check marks when you change the settings to manual updates.
