iPod touches are way better than any iPod I mean you have internet which I’m on now you can get your mail the weather gps a calculator these are just some of the things you get free. there are also a lot of free games you can play along with some that cost a small amount of money. iTunes is available to you at any time and of course you can listen to music or watch music videos or watch movies or tv shows. The only disadvantage is somehongs require wifi to work but the advantages definately outweigh the costs.
