ipod fail

my screens alwayse dark and the msic dsnt play if I press the play button, but when I click any buttons it still makes the little click sound, plus when I pugged it into my laptop it didnt show up on itunes but my laptop knew it was there. please help!!

Try resetting it. Press the Menu and the middle button at the same time til it restarts. The similar thing happened to mine and resetting it fixed it.
