ingrown hair help!

I (for some odd reason) decided I needed a change, and so I got my razor, and decided to shave all my pubic hair. BAD IDEA! the little stubbles ich like hell, and now I have a bunch of little red dots… so I have ingrown hairs and I would like to know… what do I do? should I leave them alone? I was thinking f using face wash on them like clearesil. is there anything I can do to make them go away and fast?

dont touch it, or put anything on it either. I have always been shaving down there. use a better shaver. a sharp new one. believe me, it works like a charm.

You will usually get ingrown hairs the first few times you shave down there. After awhile of shaving you should get less and less of them. So don’t worry, what you’re experiencing is normal.

However, for future reference, shaving the right way will help in deterring the occurrence of ingrown hairs and pimples. Doing it while you’re in a warm/hot shower will help open the pores abit before shaving. Then use shaving cream or aloe vera moisturizer to help soften the skin and moisturize. Make sure you use a new razor. Old razors will up your chance of ingrown hairs and pimples as it doesn’t shave as better and might deposit dirt under your skin. Shave only in one direction, along the grain of growth, not against it. After shaving, moisturize again once you dry yourself off. Shaving can make your skin dry especially if you don’t use shaving cream, and itching is the by-product of this. This is why you always have to moisturize.

For your situation now, you should wash the area with a soap-free/sensitive skin body wash. Clearasil might be too harsh for the delicate skin down there. Keep it moisturized and don’t wear underwear and/or pants that are too tight. If it itches, don’t scratch, as it will make it worse. Keep this up for over a week or so and it should go away on its own.

y would you shave down there? I never did. my friend does and it looks weird and pointless. im also sort of terrified of getting cut because that would probably frakkin hurt.
