Infected nose piercing?

Clean it with warm salty water (use sea salt) twice a day… If it doesn’t seem to be clearing up within 2 weeks and is causing you discomfort go back to the studio you got it done at and have a chat with them :)

It’s most likely not infected. I don’t know what it looks like, but a litle bump around a nose piercing is normal.. just keep cleaning it and keep an eye on it.. incase it progresses any. =)

Its probably still healing just keep it clean.

No its not. its probably just alittle irritated. It will go away, dont worry. just clean it more often

I got mine done 4 days ago and mine is red around the piercing…and at times it gets crusty around the stud and soemtimes a weird white color around it…I’ve been cleaning it with sea salt and water…you boil water…and fill a coffee cup with it then put 1/4 tbs of sea salt in it and wait till it cools enough for you to soak it and allow it to soak for a minimum of 5 minutes but its suggested to soak it until the water becomes cool to the touch…the heat of the water helps the piercing a lot and the sea salt solution reduces swelling and allows for the entire piercing to get cleaned not just the outside…antibacterial soaps are a no no they remove all the good bacteria your piercing needs to heal…using this will only prolong the healing time!

whats this bump buisness… do you mean its swollen? I have the same problem right now but I only got it done two days ago… it got puss around it… I have this ‘ear care anticeptic’ that a pharmacist gave to me but im thinking I should just use rock salt in warm water… ?

Nah. I dont think is infection. Maybe because ou did not clean it well?

I pierced my right nostril last year. Cause that is my first nose piercing, so I take really good care of it..But due to some reasons I got to let it close. So it closed..

Then I pierced my left nostril this year.. And because this is the second time I pierce so I did not take good care of it.. So it have the small bump you mentioned.. Dont worry. Eventually it will go away..
