Infected nose peircing

Hey guys, I got my nose perfetionaly peirced about a month ago. I put in a different stud about 2 weeks ago and im soo sure that my nose is infected… there is a hard bump inside my nose, and whenever the stud comes out of my nose and I put it back in…puss comes out of the whole, and its all red…does any of you know how to cure an infected nose peircing?? if you do,please right back THANKYOU **emilie

Answer #1

I would call the people that did the piercing and ask them what to use to help cure it. maybe peroxide and neosporin??? I would definitely call the people that did it. I always had bad experiences with my ears and when I was little I had to get my earings cut out due to it getting infected.

don’t use peroxide for one thing it eats away at your healing wound…not good for healing the piercing it will take a long time to heal it. my friend had hers done and she had to take it out because the bump wouldn’t go away…you need to put back in the stud you had your nose pierced with…they pierce it with higher quality metal than what you prob have in your nose now. and you aren’t allowed to touch it…that’s why it’s infected…sooo just stop touching it and keep cleaning it…try using hot water with non iodized salt…put it on like gauze and let the guaze sit on your nose it really really helps! :] hope this helps and it heals well.

Woah, I didnt know that thankyou. The peircing that that peirced it with was a twirled nose ring and it hurts a lot when I try to put it back in. il deffinatly start trying to use the hot water and salt thing hopefully it works…thankyou so much:),you really helped!!
