SOOO, I have a Math Problem I really need Help with. Hope you can helppp :DDD

Some students want to start a business that cleans and polishes cars. It takes 1.5 hours of labor and costs $2.25 in supplies to clean a car. It takes 2 hours of labor and costs $4.50 in supplies to polish a car. The students can work no more than 120 hours in one week. They also decide that thy want to spend no more than $160 per week on supplies. The students expect to make a profit of $7.75 for each car that they clean and a profit for each car they finish.

Can you please tell me what the inequalities are. Thnxx :DD

Answer #1

hmm. let’s have h stand for hours of labor. and s stand for supply money. c stands for a car.

so, we’d have… 1.5h+2h<120. 2.25s+4.5s<160. 7.75=c

I think.. =
this problem seems to have more equals than inequalities… <.< perhaps im doing it wrong, though. -__- best of luck to you!! =]
