How to tan indoors?

is it possible for me to tan without any lotion with the big bright desk lamp I have without using any tanning lotions.I have things like baby oil and regular lotion and I need help.oh yeah and I have very fair pale skin.

Answer #1

Noo.. it’s not the light that tans your skin! like everyone else is saying it needs to have U-V rays in it. I suggest buying fake tan or going to a tanning salon =]

Answer #2

you need a tanning light to tan it’s a blue UV light My friend works in a tanning salon and the only way you can get these lights is if you but a bed which ranges from $2000-$4000. you can’t tan from your desk lamp it’s pretty much impossible my suggestion is buy tanning minutes and go to a salon

Answer #3

NO!

Tanning is the skin’s response to ultra-violet light that will damage it. Desk lights don’t put out that kind of light.

Answer #4

go in a room with a lot of lights?

Answer #5

it probably most deff. won’t, desk lamps don’t have uv or uvb(isk if there’s a diff.) so, no it’s not gunna work..if you get a uvb light..the kind that people use to grow plants in the house, there’s a possibility it might work, but I’m not promising it will.

Answer #6

yeah but I cant get to a salon.can someone just say if this will work please.

Answer #7
