Incest in germany where a brother and a sister had 2 kids

It’s not as uncommon as you would think. The BBC produced a documentary not long ago, Brothers and Sisters in Love, that recounted several stories of adult siblings meeting and falling in love, the German couple included.

Personally, I think the laws serve more as an official moral barometer than as an actual deterrent, but as they serve to protect against innocent children being brought into the world with developmental difficulties, they do have a decent purpose, even if they are practically unenforceable.

It’s all moot with regards to the German couple anyway. Last I heard, the sister had ended the relationship and married someone else.

I think it is kind of gross because they came from the same family. But they met when they were 15, and 14, so they really didn’t know that they were related I guess. If they love each other, then it’s whatever. But it’s just different for me I guess.

I think it’s a good thing they lost because I think people who have family relationships like blood family are confused and love the person but aren’t in love and there are problems that arise with children that are born through incest especially in brother in sister not so much other combinations but honestly I don’t really have a problem with it
