At what age will my pup be in heat? Cause she has been humping my leg and others..
I would assume you are talking about a chihuahua? My female went into her first heat around 8 months of age, but 6 months is usually the earliest. Humping your leg could also be a sign of dominance. Please if you are not planning on breeding her get her spayed as early as 6 months old
Please spay your dog. She will live longer and be happier and healthier. Do not breed her. We euthanize enough dogs in this country every year.
6 to 8 months…the humping is a dominant posture…
