I would try to keep a positive attiude and count your belssings. Be greatfull for what u have. Dont be bitter about what you dont have. Are you religious? if so imagine that Jesus is with u all the time. a physical person with u. Will make u straighten up lol.

create a better routine? well making a ‘rota’ a timetable for yourself, if you want to change something? sit down and work out what you ‘need’ to do in a day, what you ‘have’ to do and what you ‘should’ do… be realistic when constructing it, allow for travel, and always have one hour for unexpected things and one hour for ‘want’ or ‘enjoy’ doing.

as for personality… unless you are the less famous and affluent version of simon cowel, why should you change anything about you? if there is a trait you really are unhapy with, such as anger or impatience, then make those aware around you that you are trying to change this, and they need to make you aware that you are starting to behave in ‘that’ way.

but really, the timetable will help, and will take commitment and dedication, which is why you have to make it realistically achievable.

and soon, that time table will become habit. but remember, your life changes all the time, to re-evaluate it regularly.

how does this ‘advice’ help this person?

Answer #4

I was goin for the personality thing. To have a positive attitude and be greatfull for wat u have makes u have a better personality. DUH. Instead of being bitter about what u dont have. I think that does help. the routine i didnt address on. what u think wont help mite be helpful to others.

Answer #5

For a better routine. Just write down what u have to do everyday. Your life and things you have to do will change everyday. So the night before. Go through everything u have to do tommoro and put it all together in a timely manner. The things u want to do should come after the have to do things. Then its whatever u wanna do 1st. After u get your have to things done. Have fun and do what u want and which ever feels the best to u at that moment.

firstly,i was simply pointing out that making someone feel ‘guilty’ about ‘not’ appreciating what they have is NOT helpful..

Paul McKenna surmised it perfectly when he wrote in his book that when you have food on a plate, and you can’t eat it all, because you’re full… and someone says ‘there are people starving in south Africa, you should finish your dinner’.. over eating and clearing your plate isn’t beneficial. as he say, well. if i take a picture of myself overweight and obese, will that help them either?

life isn’t about feeling ‘grateful’ or guilty’ about the things you have, as long as you earn them, that should be satisfaction enough.

and bitter about what you don’t have? hmmm… i don’t consider being motivated about what you would like bitterness?

and i was simply asking how your advice helped him address any of the issues Jon had raised?

i don’t believe in guilt or over indulging something just because it’s there…. i have two kids, i work i have a large house, whilst i am grateful for those things, it doesn’t stop me feeling stressed about the demands they put on me, or the aspirations i have to improving it..

Answer #11

thnx soit , it was like am a slothy guy , need to get rid of it and few similar problems , i will surely try your prespective

Answer #12

Not tyrin to make someone guilty. I am simply tryin to put a perk in his step. A lot of people dwell on things. I think its good advice. Just dont worry so much and have a good outlook

Answer #13

it is SO HARD to get into a routine, but set yourself a goal, like ‘try it for 14 days’ .. if it doesn’t work? dump it, but i’m so confident it will work, or at least you will feel better for it in the end. and you will look at your productivity and be sooo chuffed! i’m pretty sad, when i right my ‘to do lists’ i put little boxes at the end of each task, i just love seeing those little ticks which have confirmed ‘i did something’ lol
