im sorry but I dont understand why people get so spoiled at Christmas

People are getting upset if they didn’t get that new iPhone or whatever. I saw at least 6 people get expesinve gifts on Facebook over like $500. I got a few clothes, a video game and some makeup and I am so thankful for what I got! People are forgetting about the true meaning of Christmas. And people are calling me poor because I never got much -.- people these days.

And that’s the end of my little rant.

It’s just how they were raised… If the parents spoil them like that, then they’ll just be ungrateful :( Meh, some people are so poor all they have is money. Don’t pay attention to those spoiled brats :P

Agreed. I also don’t get why people gripe over not having the fanciest phone in general or how they talk about having to have the most technology they can on their one phones. I’m, 26. I don’t have a CD player in my car, have never owned an MP3 player, iPad, etc. My phone doesn’t have internet on it. I can make and take calls, send and receive texts, take pictures and videos and make voice recordings and send them off of my phone and I am very happy with my phone. It does it what I need it too.

Anywho, yeah, the most expensive thing I was thinking about putting on a list this year was a larger skillet style pan….a saute pan, but I decided not too because they don’t seem to run less than $30. I can manage with the slightly smaller one that I have. I was SHOCKED when my mom got me a brand new microwave. I know she spent at least $75 on it. Mine died a few months ago but I had just planned on getting another used one from Goodwill or a garage sale or something like that. Technically, the most expensive thing I actually asked for was a DVD or CD…maybe a gift card. I don’t ask for amounts on gift cards so it’s up to the person getting it…which is usually no more than $25. I am grateful for what I get. I am insanely grateful for that microwave.

I’d rather just spend time with my family and friends…and pets and give to others than receive things myself. I love seeing the smiles when you’ve given someone the perfect gift or something they really like.
