Is being a size 0 harmful?

Ok so im a 16 year old girl whos 5ft 8 and weighs 99 pounds, I lost 23 pounds in 6 months and I dont why? I seem to not have the need to eat normal foods and just eat if its something I really like. Most the time I will eat chocolate or chips if I am to eat something and that will be it for the day. My friends and family tell me all the time about me not eating but lately people I hardly know are telling me how ill I look and its starting to upset me. My waist is 23inches (the same size as victoria beckham’s) and I found out that makes me a size zero! I dont know what to do please someone help me and tell me if im harming myself!

Ok, you’re asking the wrong question, being a size 0 is not harmful, if you’re like 5 nothing and simply have a fast metabolism

But for your height you are way too thin, you’re not just underweight but seriously underweight…

Ok, well ifyou are this tall and this slim, you are most likely not getting all the nutrients you need, so I would consider you go see a professional, or a dietrician, and make sure that everything is alright, anyhow.. good luck. :]

You are too thin and undernourished. I think you should see a doctor and get some help for your eating disorder. You can’t fix this by yourself… and good help is available.

I’d go ahead and say your weight is definitely below a safe number. Try seeing a doctor for her opinion.
