How to ignore the urge to watch porn?

Well, first I think it’s important to realize the fix isn’t ignoring the urge, it’s acknowledging it! Until you can acknowledge the desire and recognize it as sin, self-control will feel torture!

It’s a good idea to try to understand if there are triggering events that are avoidable. I know, woman can’t be avoided! I’m talking about the stuff we can avoid that might trigger the urge.

PRAY!! There isn’t a better way to stop sinning than to talk to God and tell him why you think it’s a good idea to disobey him! Good luck with this,I’ve never been able to come up with anything! Stay praying though! Ask for strength and freedom from that temptation!

And then…. the hardest part! Don’t watch porn!

Also, watching porn, in my opinion, isnt really all that bad a thing. i mean, if youre like addicted to it, thats a whole nother story. You shouldnt feel guilty. Thats what its there for right? Leviticus 11: 3-8 you may eat any animal that has a split hoof, divided in two, and that chews cud but not an animal that only chews cud or only has a split hoof… The pig has a split hoof, divided in two, but doesn’t chew cud and so is unclean. So all of Leviticus isn’t entirely followed so you can’t pick and choose sections so therefore it is irrelevant in an argument. I couldn’t find that section in Corinthians so I can’t rebut what I cant find same thing for the Hebrew quote. What I am really trying to say is that so much of the bible has stopped being considered a sin that it’s mainly culture that affects what still counts as a sin so using te bible to say it’s a sin isnt logical. I have already stated this once before above. It clearly states that homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God. Which means its a sin. And it states that after Jesus. Dont be decieved will. I am not one to judge but i stand by my God. and i am not perfect by far. But i will not ignore the word of God expecially when it is clearly written.

Genesis states god created us in his own image. Homosexuality is completely natural and genetic. God would have created us that way if that wasn’t how we were supposed to be. Remember although the bible has the word of god it is written by humans who are affected by culture and culture has always been against homosexuality so it isn’t necessarily gods word that homosexuality is a sin

I am gonna have to disagree and leave it at that. Part of the issue is that homosexuality isn’t widely accepted so people see it as a sin or not part of gods creation but people saw different races that way too until those races got rights and then everyone was like oh our bad we mis read the bible.

we should love everyone. reguardless if they are white, black gay or watever. thats how we are supposed to be. But God has his rules set in stone. He wont change. Times may change but he wont. Homosexuality is NOT natural and genetic while taking into account current the current context of Scientific understanding. Also as a christian what is natural isn’t Automatically good. The bible actually states to be not of the world but in the world. So appealing to secular ideas of what is nomal dosen’t effect scripture. Also when you watch porn you basically are lusting over women. Porn presents women in an unreal state and creates confusion to whoever is watching it in what the women actually do in reality.

Everybody sins will. Nobody is perfect. Whether ur sinning about bein gay or if its stealing or lying. Its all the same amount of sin in Gods eyes. No sin is greater than another in His eyes.
