the girl talking about the H2Ocean knows what shes talking about. you should never use alcohol, peroxide, or and antibacterial creams or ointments. use a non iodized sea salt and water mixture. its tricky but somehow you need to let that soak on your piercing for about 15 minutes a day. it helps promote healing. they give it to a lot of mothers after they get a c section or some people after they have surgery. use a soft mild soap once in the morning and once at night. but not more than a couple times a day. too much can be just as bad as too little. and rinse it after a work out or after it gets a little dirty. but if you’re gonna be in a dirty situation put a band aid over it.

hi im the girl who told you to use neosporin and im sorry I thoguth it might help. im trully sorry!!! listen to her. sorry lol

Answer #3

calm down doll, go to the drug store or a cvs and buy some niosporin and put it on when the red starts. keep doing that for about a week! good luck honey, ps: even if it was infected, it wouldnt be so bad that you would LOSE your EAR!!

Answer #4

Go to the doctor. NOW. :) You won’t lose your ear unless you let it get really badly infected, but it’s not fun for it to be infected at all and it can make you really sick. I suggest seeing a doctor ASAP! Also take the earring out. And don’t try to pierce anything by yourself again! You can paralyze your face if you mess up when you do your cartlidge. Plus, you can get blood poisoning! Hope you feel better!

Answer #5

I dont think your lose your ear… you should take the earing off so it wont get worst just in case..

Answer #6

okay first of all, to the girl who said it was deadly, it sure as hell isn’t lol. yur cartlidge isn’t connected with yur spinal cord. and I just peirced my cartlidge by myself,as I do with a bunch of other peircings. it’s not really a big deal, as long as yu keep it clean. if it’s infected, don’t take it out. unless its really bad. just KEEP IT CLEAN! no matter what.

Answer #7

NO NO NO ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Never use neosporin on a piercing! Don’t listen to them Girl, I have a million piercings. I just got my industrial bar done. Cartilage is not like your ear lobe, I’ve had my other cartilage piercing for about a year and it STILL gets infected.

Never use neosporin, it dries out the skin and cracks and it’ll never heal. Never use hydrogen peroxide for that same reason either. I use this stuff called h2ocean it’s especially made for piercings, but you could also use a moisturizing soap that’s meant for your face that wont dry it out and that’s not perfumed. Like dove’s face soap. Something gentle but will clean it at the same time. But yeah…Your ear wont ever fall… lol

Answer #8

ok your seposed two soak it with alcahol twice a day and you only had it for two day its all cool you wont get your ear cut offf or anything

Answer #9

Frst of all NEVER peirce you own ear! Espesally your cartlidge. If you have an earing in it right now, take it out. And you need to go see a doctor, if your ear is infected and really hurt and its not getting better than you need to go right away. Something in you ear leads to your brain, I dont remember it all but I know that its REALLY BAD, it can be deadly ( this is not a joke!) .

Answer #10

Well, although you should NEVER do ANY piercing yourself… you WON’T lose you ear! Just take the earring out ASAP, let it heal up and have it redone PROFESSIONALLY. If it starts getting infection, go to the doctor as soon as you can. If you need anything else, let me know ok? I’m very good with piercings/tattoos :)
