Does anyone have any good ideas for a homecoming theme?

umm Monte carlo?

Every year for the first home football game against a serious rival we have a dance at the school afterwards. The Homecoming Dance. Uhm, some past themes were stary night/red carpet and another was a night in the city.

You could try a Vegas theme, or carribbean, or even try a formal “dress up” theme. Anything

ummm maybe Back to School Bash idk lol

You could do like a Mission Impossible themed one. Always kinda though that would be cool.

i dont really know what that is, can you give me an example of what kind of decorations that would be?

hmm that sounda original (which is a good thing), but i never saw the movie, so can you explain the types of decorations a little?

the only issue is that it needs to be semi formal… like short party dresses and guys weraing ties but not necessarily full suits… would this still work?

btw focused more on the whole like warped trippy colors, surreal world aspect, larger than life part… not the little kid story book part

no not really…. the girls wear longer dresses and stuff as well as umm masks and bright jewelry lol

yeah thats the concern, because i feel like if it is done really well it could be good, but if its not like perfect, it will look like a little kids birthday party

One school I went to did this “Enchanted Forest” theme, it was really cool. They hung Ivy and strung little lights that they covered with some kind of flower, like honeysuckle ^^ I think they were going for a faires, elves, and unicorns, type thing :) Also, I helped with a dance once, and so it was themed “Victorian Masquerade” :D

Las vegas, fairytale, or the whole puffy dresses and masks like some people said =)

That sounds really cool, plus we have a courtyard connected to where we have the dance and we get to open it up everyyear so the decorations would work really well. just wondering, did the guys like it too? or was it mostly for the girls?

mardi gras would be cool and a ton of fun… the purple/gold/green, decorate it like bourban street, have beads…. :)

Yeah, I think it was well-liked by everyone. Really though, I don’t think the guys care as much as the girls, because if it’s formal all they need is a tux :P But, everyone had a lot of fun, that’s for sure ^.^
