Is this a good idea or no - I have people telling me both?

I say go for it.

I would go to the trade school. I think its a great idea :)

The problem with the trade school is if you go and you don’t like it then going back to high school will be tough cuz you will be to old, and you won’t get a diploma anyways. You will get a GED. some people will say that a GED is just as good as a diploma but lets face it if you try to apply to a university or even get a job people will see your GED and think “now why didnt she just finish high school like all the other normal kids in the world?”

My opinion is that you should graduate from high school with a diploma then go to a trade school after that if you are still interested. That way you have more options later down the road in life. By going now, your reducing your chances of having a successful plan B or C. Its a tough choice. Think about it hard before you make a decision.

The trade school I’m going go to is a high school alternative, so I couldn’t go to it if I graduated from my high school, you get a diploma from your high school and a license/experience from the trade school I’d go to as long as you pass because while I’d be going to my program at that high school I’d go to history, science and math at that school to get all my credits.

I had the same reservation about it as Blakbeltv3, but after your explanation to him I think it sounds terrific!

so your gunna get a diploma and a license?! well cool do it. :) haha it must be a huge worl load tho so you really hafta focus on your work. :) but hey if it is whatchu wanna do… then do it.

Not saying your plan is wrong but you should get your diploma cause these days it’s hard to work with out one. You kind of want to have a back plan cause when your young you want to be something but as we get older we tend to change are minds. Having your diploma will open up the doors for you, what you can do is finish school early in your junior year. Word of advice you really do want to get your diploma cause once your 18 it’s hard with out one i speak of that cause i didn’t have one till i was 20 and it was hard being an adult. Hey if your heart and passion is cosmetology go for it reach for your dreams!

I would be getting my diploma and a cosmetology license.
