What Does This icon mean?

that icon has nothing to do with firefox…

what happenes when you hover over it, what does it say?

go into your device manager and tell me where again this icon appears.

Ok Lets see what we can do… i need a little more info, You’re running windows XP i can see that, what exactly happens though? Does the program open, then close? Do you get an error message? Is there a new program that you don’t remember being there or installing? just about anything will be useful…. hopefully i can help.

Okay, when I hover over it it doesn’t do anything, and when I click on it it dissapears. i don’t get any error mesages.

what about the programs do they just not open or do they open then close? Do you see any program that you do not recognize?

click start - run - [type] devmgmt.msc - ok.

device manager will now open. what does it look like?

in other words is there an exclamation mark there and whats it next to?

it literally means that there a driver proplem of some sort whether it be a failed install or a conflict and all we need to do it find what device is causing it.
