I would like to know how to get money at the age of 13

Well! If you get money during your birthday then that will add extra! But I am 13 and I tried to get a job! I ended up serving drinks to my grandpa and his friends at this place where they pool and he pays me $5 to clean his shoes! So ask your parents or grandparents if you can do extra work for extra cash!

Okay, I can’t do anything for my grandparents because my grandfather died and my grandma is broke…and my other half lives in Holland…the Netherlands…what ever you want to call it. And I can’t do a paper round where I live. =/ And I am not good with dogs or animals…I care for them but all I have is a cat. that is an outside cat so all he does is sleep, eat, drink, get pet, and go outside. and none of my neighbors have dogs that I can care for. Where I live I don’t think there is one way to make money…tear ohh and my birthday is not in the summer..(1.31) soo, yah. I really have no way of getting money do I??

There’s a lots of little ideas that you could do…maybe a paper round? Babysitting’s not the worst idea: it could be fun and experiencable. But there is not many places that let 13-year-olds have a job.

Little household chores or doing something for a family member or a friend could earn you money.

You could ask to borrow money if you are that deseparate, but I would not if I was you, because you will have to repay back the money.

im 13 and I really need money but so far I have a job come up, gardening!!! 8-( though im no gardener so far after an hour of work I havnt yet been told how much I ernt though I suspect £5 - £10, as the same day I done the shopping for her as she is unable to walk for long periods of time and se paid me £5 for an 1 hours work! so these jobs do come up, just unexpetedly, though I do want help, because I dont no where to ask. I will try to put a message in the local shop and post of but I wondered if you had any other tips? im aiming for £30 for cod 4 on wii and £20 for runescape! I am 13 and I agree it is tough to make money at this age I baby sit and I get paid pretty well. If I were you I would try cleaning someones house, car wash, mow,babysit,cool,or landscape!!!

I agree it is almost impossible for me to get money where I live (im 13)…I cant do paper rounds, and no kids live anywhere near me that I could babysit, and im only 13 so I cant get an actual job anywhere…I need a job that I can do after school(like between 3 and 6) but I cant find one…I don’t know what else to do I really need the money my mom is a single parent and we dont have enough money to pay the bills! all my other family is dead its just us so theres no help there!!!
