I work nights, when do I take the pregnancy test?

All the pregnancy tests say to take them first thing in the morning. I work until 6:30 am. Does this mean that I take the test when I get home, or when I wake up? Sounds like a silly question, but I can’t find an answer anywhere. Thanks for your help!

Use it when you wake up…it’s sort of the same thing, just not the morning.

They recomend that because your first pee of the morning will contain the highest concentration of the pregnacy hormone HCG. It is not imperative to use it first thing. You could try not going to the loo for longer than usual then do it, just as effective.

when you wake up its the first pee after you wake up from your normal sleep cycle
