I was wondering...

Is it really mean of me to not return another person’s affection for me? Because surely if I know what it’s like to be apart of unrequited feelings for someone, then it’s a bit harsh to do the same thing to someone else right? And I don’t mean forcing myself to like that person… Just really giving it a try kinda thing. What do you think?

IF you don’t have feelings for the person then its not fair to yourself or the person to pretend that you do. You could always be friends and hang out and if you do start to like the person than great, if not then that is perfectly alright.
