Is there any way to get over him?

I really like this guy, and hes 4 years older than me. The great thing about that is, i’ve been getting older guys for a while now, im a very mature girl. I also am very christian, I have no problem with sharing my love or knowledge about the Lord anytime. The problem is, this guy felt like he was the best on this earth. Nice, Handsome, Caring, Understanding, Funny, and he always brought me home before curfew. My parents really loved him. Then he went off to college, and said that he liked me more than ever, and he didnt know his feeling. I was thinking : LOVE. Then i prayed every night, and wished on every shooting star for us to fall in love. But he dropped the bomb by saying it would be too hard to interact when he was gone. I cried for days, but never let him know. Now eevery time i talk to him, I just want to say “i miss you,” or “i love you” because i never fell out of love with him. But when i tel him my feelings, i cant get those two phrases out. I want advice on how to get over him. I believe in the saying “let it go, if its meant to be, it will come back” so i dont want to try to win him over. God helps a lot, but i am just looking for extra help, getting over him, on earth.
