I want to write about life problems or write a poem about something

hi everyone I want to write about something that everybody thinks about at one time or another I tried pregnancy and couldnt get interested in it then I tried obesity and couldnt get interested in that has anybody got any ideas on what I could write about I used to try and write storys about different things but I need ideas and like a starter to a story please help and give me your ideas

I find that when you’re writing a poem like that, you come to it with a thick sense of there being a problem to write about, well naturally. So, what helps is to single out a specific point of entry: the moment your father said you’d never amount to anything, the time your girlfriend decided to get an abortion and didn’t tell you, things like that. Focus on something tangible, that’s where good poems start. Get everything you can about the specifics, then you can relate them, broaden them if you want, or just keep going to another moment like a story that ties the problem down to a dark narrative. umm life problems??? well theres abuse..whether its domestic violence, child, sexual, emotional abuse? I used to write poems about things like that too.. I know what you mean about needing to be interested in the topic

hi ok well I dont want to get to involved in the story because I no if I do I will end up hurting so what if I did it about something closer to me but not have me completly involved can you give me any ideas??? and you are right it does help if im interested
