Should I tell my girlfriend that I like her?

OK i know this isnt really that big of a problem… but i keep wanting to tell my new girlfriend that i love her. Now we’ve only been going out officially for a week. i dont really know if i love her yet…i mean its still really early but like i have this impulse to tell her that i do. im not trying to get her into bed by telling her or anything… i just feel like i want to tell her. i dont even know you can give advice for this type of thing but its worth a shot i guess.

Those three words every girl wants to hear become a little meaningless when thrown around too often. You’ve been with her for just a week - calm down. Wait until your first fight and see if you could still tell her you love her THEN. Because maybe you’d really mean it then.

well technically we’ve been together for two months… its just that we’ve only been officially boyfriend and girlfriend for a week. but i get what youre saying. and i know i shouldnt yet. i might scare her away or something. plus i dont want to dilute the meaning of it.

Don’t tell her!!! It is WAY too soon! I hate it when that happens…i’ve only been dating my b/f for a week and last night he ended our phone conversation with love ya and now i feel super awkward. it pretty much killed it for me.
