I want to study but I can't study!

I want to study but I can’t study! I can’t even reach my book to study. Seems like I am in a nightmare of the night. The day time seems to be more less effective for study and mood for studying, but as time passes I always make considerations for later studies. I have a week left before school, I only desire to study but my mind is more negative and depressed on the tremours of the past which by somehow sleeping 96 hours and hoping to be wild and powerful the next time I wake up seems to be the same tired and negative mind. So what is wrong with me? I should not lock myself in a room with less oxygen or I’ll still feel sleepy and do my work later but ends up the same problem? I’ve done that! Should I take my time out and meditate hoping to be wild and strong for tonights study? DOne that! I took a few music samples that are nothing more than a piece of crap called “Brainwaves”, done that. I listen to all sorts of musics, nothing. I’m just too negative and become more severely depressed when I study(READ), so the outcome of that I took a freaking sound speaker that speaks out what I read for me!!! Done that, still doesn’t do much. I gave up 3 nights of studies this holiday because I thought I could study straight 10 hours next day and be the happiest freak ever. But Nope, tonight seems to be the exact same night thinking next morning I will wake up very happy and sharp to study. BUT NOPE!!! please guyz, itz been a year I’ve struggled soo much ONLY to get to study, hoping that I could take better control of my memory. PLease anyone out there have an answer. DON’t abuse me in your answer. Please reply. Thank you!

Get a tutor…or face yourself and tell yourself you want a worthy future. Win the battle over lazyness mate! We all fight it. I find myself in such situations as well, it happens due to total lack of motivation, you don’t truly ‘feel’ the consequences of not studying therefore you don’t becomes as serious as you can about it.

But if you start facing yourself you’ll be able to do it. What I do is, get annoyed with myself and then I say out loud, “it’s time to stop being lazy” and get up and move torwards my books, I sit down and I say out loud again “I’ll be finishing this topic or exercise right now” . The topic/exercise mustn’t be too long though otherwise I’ll feel lazy to do it again.

You need to get a tutor, or a study partner or group. If your mood is really bad often, or swinging all over the place, you should talk to your doctor about it.
