I want to lose weight but my family are against it.

I went through a bit of a troubled time with my eating. I recovered. It has made me gain lots of weight. I feel really vile. I want to start loseing the weight again but my family kick up a fuss. Is there anyway I could go on a (healthy) diet without them knowing? I’m not going to slip back into old habits I’m just tired of feeling disgusting everytime I catch sight of myself. I live with them so when my eating habits change they notice.

  You sound like you have an eating disorder such as anorexia and/or bulimia. You are not only attempting to fool them but you are fooling yourself. Anorexia is a killer. If you revert back to those negative habits you can quite likely permanently harm or even kill yourself. omg I am so with you…I went on a strict diet and LOST a lot of weight and was told I had an eating disorder. now that I gained all my weight back my parents get freaked out about me going on a “diet” again. The watch me like a hawk!!! >.<

Evne though I tell them that I’m eating just Healthier.. You should be happy if you’re at healthy weight though, I would.
If you are over weight or just out of shape then you should worry, if you do. Do push-ups and situps and stuff in your room. Walk home or join a sport at school and make sure you eat enough healthy stuff.
